Synopsis

The original story was only available digitally, but in this case it was published in a standard physical anthology format after debuting on digital platforms. This narrative showcases Barry Allen trapped in a chaotic race spanning multiple alternate historical timelines. The central plot follows the Scarlet Speedster as he frantically pursues his ultimate temporal nemesis, Eobard Thawne (the Reverse-Flash), whose chronological disruptor anomalies threaten to entirely rewrite global history. While navigating through disrupted pocket eras, the Flash lands directly inside an ongoing World War I aerial dogfight. There, he makes brief, direct contact with Hans von Hammer, interacting with the legendary Enemy Ace alongside his iconic red Fokker triplane before the slipstream yanks him forward into the next broken historical timeline.

Collector Notes

Conforming to the standard modern printing specifications of DC's mass-market anthology giants, the internal pages are rendered entirely in full color. This presentation preserves the vivid, high-saturation electric effects and rapid time-dilation palettes chosen for the contemporary story, casting a clean spotlight on the high-action panel arrangements and dynamic linework that briefly bridge modern superhero action with the historic aesthetics of DC's classical military properties.
