Part of DC's final monthly anthology war comics run. Because the original Silver Age stories ran up to 23 pages, DC's production editors condensed the art layouts into 6–8-page backup slots, shifting panels and re-lettering text boxes to summarize gaps. This series represents the absolute final gasp of DC's traditional newsstand war line before cancellation with issue #21 in 1992.
