Synopsis
The immortal Mitch Shelley (Resurrection Man) arrives in the small town of Leesburg, South Carolina, where he is suddenly overwhelmed by violent, telepathic episodes tracing the agonizing memories of his countless past-life deaths across human history. During a swirling, chaotic montage showcasing the various eras Mitch Shelley has lived and died through, a prominent panel on Page 22 depicts a flashback memory of Hans von Hammer flying his iconic red Fokker triplane during World War I as he maneuvers through a deadly anti-aircraft zone. Before Mitch can fully process his deep historical connection to the Western Front, his chronal episode is violently shattered as a localized demonic entity manifests over the city. Earthangel Supergirl sweeps in to intercept the threat, forcing a high-stakes supernatural alliance with Mitch to neutralize the outbreak before it completely consumes the local populace.
