Synopsis
The growing assembly establishes a hidden base camp inside a network of volcanic caves. G.I. Robot's internal tracking scanners begin picking up artificial high-frequency radar signals from across the jungle, proving the island is not a natural landmass. While attempting to scout the signal's source, a member of the unit is snatched away by a flock of giant Pteranodons.
Collector Notes
The reveal that the island generates artificial signals shifts the series from survival horror toward a more conspiratorial register, hinting that the warriors' displacement is not accidental. Al Barrionuevo's prehistoric creature designs are among the strongest visual elements of the run.
