Synopsis
A rescue mission is mounted into the high-altitude nesting grounds of the flying reptiles. Hans von Hammer utilizes his expert tactical WWI scouting expertise to track the beasts, but the terrain proves treacherous. During the vertical ascent, the team is ambushed by a completely different faction: time-displaced Golden Age military forces who have lost their minds to the island's isolation.

The introduction of feral, time-lost Golden Age soldiers as a third threat faction adds a tragic dimension to the island's mythology. Von Hammer's scouting skills, honed over the Western Front, translate naturally to tracking in hostile unfamiliar terrain, giving him a defined role in the ensemble.
