Synopsis
Tensions boil over as food and ammunition supplies dwindle. The Viking Prince and Tomahawk lead a splinter group to track the unseen controllers of the island, following buried fiber-optic cables beneath the dirt. They locate a heavily fortified, high-tech subterranean bunker door hidden behind a waterfall.

The fiber-optic cables are a deliberately jarring anachronism, forcing the WWI-era von Hammer to reckon with technology centuries beyond his own. The discovery of the hidden bunker shifts the series from survival narrative to infiltration thriller.
