Synopsis
G.I. Robot successfully overrides the security protocols of the hidden bunker. Inside, the warriors find a massive, automated cloning lab stacked with biological stasis tubes. The island is revealed to be a controlled military proving ground designed to harvest data by forcing history's greatest combatants to fight prehistoric monsters.

The cloning lab reveal reframes the entire series as a controlled experiment, with the stranded warriors as unwitting test subjects. It is a classic pulp science fiction conceit executed with conviction, and gives the series' diverse cast a unified reason for their displacement.
